Okay your wedding day / night is the beginning of your life as husband and wife. Shouldn't it set the tone for the rest of your time together. So if you wedding is boring and dull will that blend into your life together? So as you are planning your wedding day/night make sure to add some fun to it. Maybe replace the rice with bubbles or have a Karaoke contest for the guest. Point being make sure to show your guests that your marriage is going to be on that lasts with a lot of fun.
