How To Live To Be Really Old

With my time during the shelter in place time with coronavirus I started doing some research as to what helps someone live to a very old age.  The funny part is none of the things I though might be important are that important.   Things like eating right, in great shape, and visiting your doctor often I figured would be high on the list of people that live to be very old in age.  But that is not the case, what I found is that some of the things that seem to be common are very simple and realistic things for everyone to do.  

Moderate exercise is the first thing.  Being a super athlete doesn't make you live longer, but being outside more often seems to help.   So moderate walks in nature might be a better key to living longer than running marathons or having a six pack.  

Eating while important it seems to not matter what you eat.  There is not documentation that vegans or vegetarians live longer than those that eat meat.  What is evident is that people that don't over eat seem to live longer.  Our bodies only need so much food and it would seem overeating is harder on our bodies than what we are eating to an extent.   

Lastly the thing that seems to be most present in people that live longer is that they seem to have a more positive attitude than most.  They put more focus on being loved and enjoying live than trying to make the most money possible.  Now maybe that is factored in with a stress factor.   Actually even being silly is considered something that those that get to a ripe old age don't take life so seriously. 

So no matter what your age now maybe you can change thing around by just changing your outlook on life.  Enjoy life and live longer.
